Stop your dirty and tribal politics before Npp goes into opposition – supporters of Npp

Stop your dirty and tribal politics before Npp goes into opposition – supporters of Npp.

The events taking place in the New Patriotic Party in the recent past suggests that dirty politics is overtaking the good manifestos of the party especially on the issues that boarder on the upcoming presidential elections of the Npp, supporters of the party have observed.

In an interviews which this website has carried out ahead of the Npp’s presidential primaries, party stalwarts are allegedly angry with the national executives for failing to maintain peace in the party.

Whilst others blame the headquarters for using alleged ugly methods to impose Dr Mahamud Bawumia on the party, others hardly understand why the majority of the Ashanti Mp caucus have declared their open support for Bawumia.

Alternatively others prefer that an Ashanti man like Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng is the right person who deserves to lead the party to “break the 8” in the 2024 general elections.

That was not all, Kennedy Agyepong’s hangers-on also claim that no candidate is ahead of Agyepong in terms of political experience and policy formulations and that without Kennedy they will discard Npp in the 2024 polls.

The aggrieved supporters observed that if the national executives allowed this dirty politics to take roots in the party, then Npp should stop dreaming about the breaking of the 8.

We are threading on a dangerous note if tribal politics is not avoided, Amos Damuah of the Manhyia Constituency of the New Patriotic Party asserted.

We are creating the opportunity for the opposition Ndc to win the next elections through our own faults, Akwasi Bonsu of the Kwabre East Constituency told our correspondent.

Bonsu advised that since the early bird catches the worm party leaders should wake up early to intervene in the dirty politics that have been going on in the party before doomsday greets Npp in ,2024.
