Securitiea And Exchange Commission Publishes Sandbox Guidelines For Virtual Assets And InnovIRTUAL ASSETS AND INNOVATIVE SERVICES


The SEC has today issued its Sandbox guidelines for Virtual Assets and Other Innovative Products.
This is to allow the commission to operationalise the Virtual Asset Service Providers Act in a more controlled environment to test user adoption and its impact on the traditional securities market.
The SEC will admit a few VASPs in the Sandbox and allow them to test their product under this controlled framework.

The SEC continues to encourage innovation and product development in the Securities market whiles strengthening regulatory safeguards to protect the investing public.
