Public concerns have have reached a boiling point following an explosive allegations made by the National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye popularity known as “Nana B” regarding the existence of a clandestine cocaine processing factories operating within Ghana.
Speaking at a press conference in Accra on Tuesday September 22 2026, Nana B alleged that certain government officials are complicit in facilitating the operations of these illicit drug laboratories.
He further claimed that these individuals are leveraging their influence to manage ports for drug related activities and effectively turning the nation into a hub for international narcotics trafficking.
Furthermore, Nana B leveled criticism at the country’s security agencies, accusing them of complacency or incompetent for failing to discouraage these dangerous operations.
Public Outcry and Calls for Accountability:
The seriousness of these claims have sent shockwaves through the country and prompting citizens and political analysts alike to demand immediate action.
Many Ghanaians are now insisting that the government should formally invite Nana B to provide concrete evidence to back his claims and when found guilty after investigations Nana B be brought to book.
From Samuel Amankwaah in Offinso, he expressed deep concern over the implications of the allegations.
He said Nana B’s statements portray the country as a haven for international criminals and that the authorities must invite him or even arrest him to justify his claims as the issue pose a serious security threat to the stability of the nation.
Others have questioned the timing and motives behind the allegations.

Kwamina Abeka another member of the public suggested that the Npp National Organizer might be engaging in “political gymnastics with the intentions to tarnish the reputation of the state.
It appears that Nana B is just doing politics to disgrace the ruling government,Abeka noted and contended that Nana B needs to provide evidence to set the records straight.

If the factories truely exist as claimed, it is a matter of national security that requires the immediate intervention of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) and the Ghana Police Service to control.
