The core essence of Ghana has been diluted by the incorrect identity that Ghanaians have bestowed upon the founder of this nation

He never referred to Ghana as a feminine entity; instead, he depicted it as masculine. This original representation is enshrined in the initial anthem of Ghana, predating the presently utilized version.

In a press release this morning, September 6,2023, by the founders of the Save Ghana Movement in Accra,the organization said the contemporary national identity that was fashioned, carrying a spiritual undertone that imposed an altered identity upon the nation.

The leader of the Movement, Mr Robert Andzie Ansah said It is imperative for Ghanaians to realize that the country is grappling with challenges on physical, emotional, and spiritual fronts.

A nation lacking a clear sense of identity is inherently limited in its understanding, the Movement noted.

Mr Andzie Ansah asserted that the spirit of Ghana has been suppressed due to the erroneous nomenclature and identity that have been applied. portraying a man as a woman necessitates a profound shift, a breaking of the original essence.

The group revealed that even someone as tradition-bound as Kwame Nkrumah, possessing profound spiritual insight, would not have named the nation after a woman.

This harks back to the fundamental meaning of Ghana, denoting royalty and masculinity and perplexing that a nation identified as a king has been reimagined as a motherland instead of a fatherland.

According to the release following the overthrown of Dr Kwame Nkrumah, the agenda was not only to oust him, but also to dismantle his legacy. As the people of Ghana, the spirit within us is not feminine but masculine. The spirit of Ghana will rise again, standing resolute.
