CMD wants to place on record with disappointment and anger that, the president nana addo danquah akufo addo led ruling npp government is the worse scam to have happened to the citizens of Ghana and our motherland.
Based on their woeful failure to be streamlined below, the citizens of Ghana must never allow npp anywhere near political or public office for the next 200 years after the December 7th 2024 general election.
Reasons are as follows:
1. They scammed Ghanaians with Planting for food and jobs with huge annual budget allocations; yet it is now that Ghanaians are facing higher cost of living, high food prices; for example, a bowl of maize sold at Ghc2 in 2016, now costs a single Ghanaian Ghc20 to purchase the same bowl of maize.
It is saddening, disgraceful and annoying that, food insecurity and hunger has just began as never experienced since the birth of the fourth republic. Why must Ghanaians be hungry and worse off with a huge budget allocation for planting for food and jobs?
Why must Ghanaians be better off in 2016 minus planting for food and jobs?Why must Ghanaians be hungry with the policy called planting for food and jobs with its huge budgetary allocation approved to reduce food prices?
Instead of lower and cheaper food prices, Ghanaians are now faced with the highest food prices?
if the budgetary allocation is truly invested in the Agriculture Sector or utilised to produce more, and not diverted or misused, Ghanaians should never face hunger or food insecurity based on planting for food and jobs of the Akufo addo led most corrupt ruling government?
Where are the jobs if Ghanaians don’t even have enough food to eat?
2. Their slogan called; one village – one dam ended up being dugouts which immediately dries when the rain stops as affirmed by their sector minister responsible for the project, Hawa Koomson who explained to citizens that, the amount of money given to her for that project could not build a meaningful dam but dugouts.
Yet we still have Hawa Koomson who couldn’t define fish pond as the minister for Acqua culture and fisheries. Tell me, if you put “Square pegs in Round Holes, why won’t the people suffer? We better get serious with accountability and politics!!!
More annoying was when we noticed the Michel Camp dam, which predates president akufo addo, built during the reign of the one and only founder of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, now embossed with one village – one dam with pictures of akufo addo on it.
3. The Kpone Katamanso Constituency where I live has never had anything they slogan as; one Constituency – one million US dollars and all roads that were awarded to a contractor by the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama’s administration, has since stalled, making all roads unmotorable during rainy season.
A gallon of petrol we bought in 2016 at Ghc14 is now bought at Ghc70 under the economic wizkid, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who is not impressed about his own performance and has totally ran away from the failed economy and now touting himself as the Digitalisation wizkid instead of the economic wizkid president akufo addo employed him to do.
The Caucus is very disappointed in the ruling npp for all the above failures and again it is seemingly getting ugly as almost every passing day, passes with its own scandal.
The Caucus therefore urges all citizens to vote for change because nothing is working in almost all the state institutions. To mention a few: the judiciary staffed with npp card bearing members; the National Security and affiliated security agencies are filled with npp card bearing members. The Electoral Commission is not spared from employing very well known npp card bearing members. And all the above insensitive actions are all recipe for disaster and chaos.
Majority of Ghanaians don’t trust the neutrality of the security agencies, the judiciary and the electoral commission anymore because of the infiltration of the card bearing members of the npp insensitively placed at those state institutions who are supposed to be neutral. Majority of the people of Ghana believe that, those infiltrated state institutions CAN NEVER be neutral and that is something all Ghanaians must be WORRIED about.
Indeed, CMD sees wisdom in calling for change, for the state to be able to investigate all the unprecedented corruption, state CAPTURE using the Agyapadie blueprint crafted by some few Akyim mafias or if you like, Picaddelli Armed robbers and illegal mining allegations involving AKONTA mining company belonging to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling npp, that were arrested in the forest, which president akufo addo publicly sought to clear.
We believe the president should have stayed neutral and allowed the police who arrested the earth moving equipments in the forest to investigate the matter to its logical conclusion and come out with their own recommendations. We are of the firm believe that the president was wrong to publicly stop the police from investigating AKONTA mining further and such Executive interference in police investigations must cease with immediate effect.
In conclusion, ground investigations of the Caucus indicate that, the masses of Ghanaians believe the country is moving in wrong direction and we urge all citizens to vote for change to help reset the twisted state institutions, reset the economy and Bank of Ghana to full functionality again.
Reject npp and Bawumia and vote massively for JM and ndc to help recover the looted state assets, lands, the gold for oil scam and many others. It must be understood as a Communal Labour and a National Duty to rescue Ghana from total collapse since we already have a collapsed economy and Bank of Ghana in our hands. The visionary JM and NDC is the only way to break the STATE CAPTURE. Let us all LOOK SHARP.
