Nana Kwaku Abban, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira in the Central Region, has officially broken grounds for the construction of a three-unit classroom block with office space at Akyeasi D/A Primary School.
He emphasized that the project symbolizes the district assembly’s commitment, alongside NPP parliamentary candidate Mr. Lawrence Kwabena Agyinsam, to create a conducive learning environment where students can excel both academically and personally.
The initiative also highlights Mr. Agyinsam’s dedication to investing in future generations by ensuring that students have access to the necessary resources to thrive.
Mr. Joseph Dadzie, the District Engineer, assured that the project would be completed in two and a half months period.
In appreciation, Mrs. Patricia Kruche, head of Monitoring and Evaluation, thanked the DCE and Mr. Agyinsam for their timely intervention.
“Mr. Agyinsam has proven himself a true advocate for education, demonstrating foresight in addressing educational needs for the people within the cThis project is a remarkable achievement during his tenure, and both the learners and the education directorate will remember him fondly,” she remarked.
Local traditional leaders (Nananom) also pledged their full support to the contractor, promising to assist in any way necessary to ensure the timely completion of the project. They issued a stern warning to the youth, cautioning that anyone caught tampering with the construction materials or interfering with the project without the contractor’s permission would face consequences.
