Avoid the attitude of lies: The key to spiritual development and prosperity – Says Apostle John Kwaku Appiah.

By King Amoah.

In a compelling message delivered at the closing ceremony of the annual church conference, “September to Remember,” held on Sunday, September 29, 2024, Apostle John Kwaku Appiah, Head Pastor of Faith Outreach Ministry in Anloga, Kumasi, emphasized the vital role of truthfulness in the spiritual growth and prosperity of Christians.

Speaking to a congregation eager for divine guidance, Apostle Appiah’s sermon illuminated the profound implications of embracing honesty in our daily lives.

Drawing from the biblical text of Numbers 23:19, the Apostle began his sermon by asserting, “God cannot lie.”.

This declaration set the stage for a discussion on the character of God and the nature of truth.

According to Apostle Appiah, spiritual development and prosperity among Christians are inextricably linked to their commitment to speaking the truth.

He explained that the act of truth-telling is not merely a moral choice; it is a reflection of a Christian’s alignment with God’s nature.

“The ultimate purpose of many Christians is to gain prosperity,” he stated.

“However, this can only be achieved through honesty and by operating within the channels established by God.”

He pointed out the struggles faced by those who compromise their integrity in pursuit of success.

The Apostle’s message was clear: dishonesty, whether in personal affairs or public service, leads to spiritual stagnation and barriers to prosperity.

Apostle Appiah also emphasized the uniqueness and authority of God, highlighting that He transcends all earthly powers.

Unlike human leader, pastors, elders, politicians, and even monarchs who may falter in truthfulness, God remains the ultimate source of truth.

“Every lie we tell is a flirtation with Satan, the father of lies,” he warned.

“To claim to follow Christ while living in dishonesty is to deny the transformative power of truth that God offers.”

Delving deeper into the power of truth, the Apostle reminded the congregation that God spoke the universe into existence through His truth.

The prophecy given to Abraham, he noted, stands as a testament to the divine ability to turn the impossible into possible through unwavering truth.

“When we align our words and actions with God’s truth, we empower ourselves to witness miracles in our lives,” he added.

In closing, Apostle John Kwaku Appiah called upon Christians to be steadfast in their faith and trust in God’s promises.

He urged them to cultivate a lifestyle of truthfulness, asserting that without this commitment, they risk their eternal destinies. “Remember, without the truth, we endanger our souls and risk separation from God,” he cautioned.

The message resonated deeply within the hearts of the attendees, serving as a potent reminder that spiritual development and prosperity hinge not just on faith but on the integrity of our words and actions.

As Christians continue their journey of faith, Apostle Appiah’s exhortation to avoid the attitude of lies will surely guide them toward a path of righteousness, growth, and eternal victory in Christ.
