Central Region’s Deputy Organizer, Senior Comrade Abakah Mensah, popularly known as Commander 1, took the stage to energize constituency secretaries and Alpha Coordinators at the strategic workshop. With infectious passion, he charged them to take the campaign to the grassroots, leaving no stone unturned in securing a landslide victory for John Mahama and capturing 20 parliamentary seats in the region.
Representing the Regional NDC Communication Officer, Hon. Gabriella Doris Tetteh, Commander 1 delivered a message of hope from the national leadership. He reassured the people of the Central Region, particularly those in coastal and agricultural areas, that John Mahama’s administration would prioritize their needs.
Commander 1 highlighted John Mahama’s commitment to transforming the region’s infrastructure.
He promised that the former president would redesign and construct new roads, unlocking economic opportunities and improving living standards.
The Deputy Organizer also addressed the plight of Ghanaian women, who struggle with exorbitant loan interest rates. He announced that the Women’s Bank would be established to provide accessible, affordable credit, empowering women to drive economic growth.
Commander 1 further emphasized John Mahama’s vision for job creation, education, and tax reform. He assured the audience that the next NDC government would create 1 million jobs, provide free tuition fees for first-year students, and implement a student loan program for continuing students. Additionally, Mahama’s administration would scrap nuisance taxes, easing the burden on businesses and individuals.
With these commitments, Commander 1 rallied the constituency secretaries and Alpha Coordinators to work tirelessly, spreading the message of hope and change to every corner of the Central Region.
He urged them to mobilize support for John Mahama, securing a resounding victory in 2024.
