Kumasi, Ashanti Region – Apostle Kweku Appiah, the Head Pastor of the Faith Outreach Ministry located at Kumasi Oforikrom has delivered a searing indictment of Ghana’s political parties, unequivocally stating that their unfulfilled and vain campaign promises are directly responsible for the country’s persistent challenges.

He lamented that solutions have remained elusive, leaving residents in perpetual fear and insecurity.
He asserted that political platforms have become a mere stages for grand often used to deceive and make pledges that politicians conveniently discard citizens once power is transferred to them.
The clergyman further highlighted the devastating impact of illegal mining locally known as galamsey.

He questioned the sincerity of political efforts when such sacrifices are made yet the galamsey crisis continues to escalate seemingly beyond control.

But what do we see in the country today? the outspoken Minister of God rhetorically asked.
Bawku fighting is escalating whilst illegal mining activities have worsened and getting out of hands.
Apostle Kweku Appiah reiterated a stark warning: If politicians continue to take Ghanaians for granted about their false promises, then where is the country heading?
He pointed to the widespread lack of job opportunities which he described it as a ruining the lives of the youth forcing many young men into armed robbery and young women into prostitution.
A situation he described it as “unfortunate especially given that job creation is a constant fixture in political campaign rounds.
What do politicians value Ghanaians with their false promises? he passionately questioned and emphasized that the erosion of trust between the governed and the governors.
He strongly advised that it is now time for politicians to shift their focus squarely onto the welfare of the citizens who brought them to power.
