The political atmosphere in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency has reached a critical point following a bold welfare focused interventions that have been introduced by the Aspiring National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman, Captain (Rtd) Solomon Jabari.
Party supporters are currently singing praises of the retired Army Officer as they described his recent initiatives as a “dream come true” for the grassroots base of the Ndc.
The highlight of the newly intervention “Fund Me Go ” an economic empowerment fund was officially launched on September 23, 2026 at Atwima. Twedie in the Ashanti region.
Breaking the Cycle of Poverty:
The “Fund Me Go” fund is designed to breath new life into the local economy by providing direct financial support to party members who are eager to establish new businesses or expand existing ones.
Recognizing the transport sector as a key driver for local employment, the initiative includes a fleet of Pragias (motor tricycles) and Aboboyaas (cloloadingxtx5ct tricycles).
Under the transport scheme party members are required to pay only 30 percent of the vehicle’s cost upfront to allow them immediate access to the equipment to begin generating income.
The remaining balance is handled through a flexible “work and pay” arrangements.
According to party sources Captain Jabari has set an initial target of providing 600 units of Pragias and Aboboyaas to members, a move intended to drastically curb unemployment and poverty within the constituency.
A Saviour for the Constituency:
The initiative has sparked a widespread excitement with many party faithful asserting that Jabari is already acting as a chairman despite the official election being months away.
Rev. David Armstrong a Ward Secretary of the Odumasi Ndc branch was full of excitement in his praises during an exclusive interview.
According to the clergyman Captain (rtd) Solomon Jabari is a saviour for the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency.
Rev David Armstrong indicated that even before taking the official mantle, the Captain has been a transformative force facilitating road construction projects, settling internal conflicts within the constituency and providing direct financial aid to party members.
The Captain has truly shown that he is a leader who is committed to real change, Rev. Armstrong stated.
Echoing these sentiments Afua Agyeman a party supporter noted that the “Fund Me Go” fund has placed Captain Jabari in the spotlight as the candidate of choice.
He is not just making promises but he is changing lives today because he is the leader we need to rally behind to secure our future.
A Vision for Total Transformation:
When asked about his motivation behind these large scale interventions, Captain (Rtd) Solomon Jabari attributed his actions to a deep seated desire to see that his constituency thrive.
My aim is simple: total transformation. I want to eradicate poverty in the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency so that our people can have peace of mind to work effectively and contribute their quota towards national development.
