Deputy CEO & Management of NEIP visit Greenhouse farm at Dawhenya

Innovative Agriculture through green house farming has been a key initiative of NEIP. The promotion of this youth initiative started in 2016 under the Youth Enterprise Support (YES) before it was re-christened to NEIP.

Today, the Management of NEIP led by the deputy CEO, Joan Selasie Ahiawordor Esq, visited the green House facility at Dawhenya. The facility has 75 green houses for the cultivation of cucumber, tomatoes, and other vegetables.

The facility also has a 30 bed Hostel facility with training centers for training youth interested in green house farming.

NEIP will continue to partner with other development organizations to replicate this initiative in other parts of the country, to offer opportunities for youth interested in green house farming, and other modernised farming methods.

The facility will also serve as a hub to incubate innovative agricultural Startups in the upcoming “Adumawura” and other flagship programs of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama’s government.
