Forcing Dr Bawumia on Ghanaians will spell doom for the Country, he’s behind the suffering of Ghanaians- Akamba tells Kwame Pianim
A former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) , Hon. Joshua Hamidu Akamba has chatised a renowned economist, Mr. Kwame Pianim to stop forcing Dr Bawumia on Ghanaians thus telling Ghanaians to choose Dr Bawumia over John Mahama.
According to him, telling Ghanaians to vote for Dr Bawumia in the coming December 7 Elections will rather spell doom for the country, saying that Dr Bawumia he’s campaigning for , is the very person who has plunged the country into untold economic hardship.
He made this pronouncement when Mr Pianim urged Ghanaians to choose the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as president ahead of NDC’s John Dramani Mahama in the December 7 presidential polls.
Mr. Pianim who doubles as an advisor on Bawumia’s campaign team divulged to Joy News in an exclusive interview that he foresees Ghana’s developmental transformation if Dr Bawumia is voted as the next president of Ghana.
He stressed that, Mr Mahama has nothing new to offer Ghanaians having been given the nod as president in 2012.
“Mahama has been a president, Bawumia hasn’t so why don’t we give him the chance so we see what he can do?” he queried.
But in fierce rebuttal Mr Akamba asked if Mr. Pianim will ever allow an inexperienced mate to drive him through the streets of Accra.
Mr Akamba reiterated that, the current economic situation the country is experiencing was borne out of Akuffo Addo and Dr Bawumia’s mismanagement.
Mr Akamba indicated that Akuffo Addo knew Dr. Bawumia was highly incompetent that’s why his much tauted economic lectures on economic policies has become a fiasco.
Mr Akamba said it would be politically suicidal if Dr Bawumia is given the opportunity to rule as president because is high level of incompetence will further worsen the country’s economic woes.
He emphasized that Ghanaians are yearning for a president like John Mahama who’s experienced in governance to save the country’s economic downturn.
He appealed to Ghanaians to vote massively for John Mahama and NDC and not to try political amateur like Bawumia.
