As part of his unwavering commitment to improve road accessibility across the South Tongu Constituency, the Member of Parliament, Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor has approved funding for emergency drip machine works to reshape the deteriorated portions of the Detsawome–Gbenorkope Road.
The intervention became necessary after realizing that portions of the road had become virtually unmotorable and making movement to become difficult for residents and motorists.
The deplorable road was also threatening to cut off the affected communities from the rest of the constituency.
Following the Mp’s financial approval, the drip machine operators have extensively rehabilitated the roads..
The exercise has since been completed making road users and residents to feel comfortable. to carry out their daily activities without hinderance.
Speaking to the Correspondent in an interview Hon Lukutor reaffirmed his commitment to respond promptly to the needs of the constituents, noting that while permanent road rehabilitation remains the ultimate goal, temporary interventions such as this secondly approach is essential to ensure that no community is isolated due to poor road conditions.
Further interviews indicate that residents are extremely grateful to the Mp for his timely intervention and dedication to improving infrastructure and the well-being of the people of South Tongu.
