Major Tweneboah Charges Communities To Take Full Control Of Facilities Provided To Them By Organization
The Accra and Tema Divisional Commander of the Salvation ARMY Church, Major Tweneboah Koduah Issac has stressed the need for communities to take full control of facilities in which any institution notably NGO’s, cooperate bodies, churches and government would provide them and take good care of them.
This he said, will help prolong the life span of the facilities and also encourage others to extend more facilities in communities.
Major Tweneboah Koduah Issac gave the advice during the commissioning ceremony of an ultra modern toilet facility constructed by Salvation ARMY Church in collaboration with Child and Youth Development Centre also refer to as Compassion for the people of Kumawu Dadease in the Sekyere Kumawu District in the Ashanti region.
Major Tweneboah Koduah Issac pleaded with the leaders and people of Kumawu Dadease to stop encroaching on lands that have been reserved for future projects.
Mr Daniel Kwarteng, the Head of Child and Youth Development Centre at Kumawu Dadease said, the Centre has provided a lot of support to students at Dadease within the past five years that they have been operating in community.
He advised parents against the attitudes of shifting all their responsibilities on the Centre.
Instead he charged parents to be proactive and work hard to compliment the support offer to the children by the Centre.
