Quack Prophetess arrested for faking story
The police have arrested one Mary Esther, a female prophetess who allegedly prayed for a bird to transform into a human.
Reports from Gomoa Mampong in the Central Region claimed that a bird had changed into a human being.
According to witnesses, the bird transformed into a woman suspected of being a witch.
They claimed the woman admitted to being a witch and had come to the area to kill a young man.
However, the family of the man accused of witchcraft has denied the story.
According to the family, the woman [name withheld] is suffering from mental illness and has been missing for three days.
They also stated that they saw the story on TV and were concerned that someone suffering from mental illness would be labelled a witch.
According to reports, the prophetess, was arrested for causing fear and panic, among other things.
She is now being prepared for court.
