Supporting spiritual growth: Former President Mahama donates to Walantu Mosque expansion.

Former President John Dramani Mahama, Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made a donation of GH¢10,000 to support the construction of the Walantu Mosque in Kasoa.

The mosque, which belongs to the Songhai community, is undergoing expansion to accommodate more worshippers. The mosque committee had appealed for support from benevolent individuals and organizations to complete the project.

At a ceremony held yesterday, the donation was presented to the mosque committee by Alhaji Tanko Bawah, Alhaji Mustapha Abubakar, and Alhaji Hussein Fahd, accompanied by Hon. Naa Koryoo, Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya East.

The leadership of the mosque expressed their gratitude to President Mahama for his contribution and prayed for his success in the upcoming election. They also assured Hon. Naa Koryoo of their support in the elections.
