Demonstration won’t make voter register credible – EC to NDC_
The Electoral Commission (EC) has rejected the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) call for a demonstration to demand a forensic audit of the voter register.

According to the EC, it has followed the law and due process in compiling the voter register, making it credible.

The NDC has raised concerns about anomalies and discrepancies in the register. However, the EC maintains it has addressed all concerns raised by stakeholders.

The EC also accuses the NDC of attempting to discredit the voter register and undermine the electoral process.
The CMD, a Civil Society Organisation responsible for advocacy of good and accountable governance sees the public statements of Dr Serebour Quaicoe and the other interviewed by Sampson Lardi Anyenini of Joynews media as very annoying and an insult to Ghanaians.
How can an electoral commissioner say that he works to please the president, but NOT GHANAIANS who employed the commission including the president himself?
The Caucus view that comment as an insult to the people of Ghana and deems that very unfortunate.
Upon all the legitimate concerns raised by the NDC with figures in support of their claim, electoral commission still spew nonsense with arrogance.
It is an undeniable fact that, the NDC can allege that, the BVDs the electoral commission claimed was stolen even though under lock and key, were deliberately given to support the corrupt ruling npp to RIG the election in favour of Bawumia the google certified LIAR.
We are calling on all peace loving Ghanaians, including the National Peace Council, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Chiefs, Former president JA Kuffuoh, religious bodies among others to speak out in one voice for Electoral Commission of Ghana to, as a matter of urgency clean the UNFIT FOR PURPOSE Voters register through forensic review to save the country from a looming civil unrest.
We also want to place on record that the electoral commission must understand that it is the legitimate right of the NDC as a party in collaboration with all peace loving citizens to ensure a clean register is maintained by the EC for a credible, free, fair and transparent electoral process before, during and after the election.
The arrogance and intransigence of the electoral commission and the loose talks of some of the electoral commissioners like Jezebel jean adokwei Mensah, bossman asare and Serebour quaicoe must cease with immediate effect.
Ghana doesn’t belong to the few elected in government, nor president nana addo, instead, Ghana belongs to all the citizens of the country.
Additionally, the EC must take note of the fact that their independence as indicated in the constitution, job specification and mandate does not include being dishonest, stealing for a preferred candidate, selecting their choice of president for Ghanaians, being arrogant and being intransigent just because the constitution says they are independent.
They must be guided by the constitutional provisions and specifics in delivery . duties for the state and the go.j.jod people of Ghana.
We will hold EC fully responsible should their INCOMPETENCE, erroneous collation of figures and subverted declaration of results throw Ghana into a Civil unrest or Civil war and this must be placed on record.
We have also noted that the security agencies has in the past 6 years been recruiting without advertisements after the first publication since president nana addo took over the reins of the state;
The judiciary has also seen npp inclined lawyers and justices being appointed to high positions in all the judicial wings;
We have noted again with disappointment and anger npp card bearing members and functionaries being appointed to the electoral commission compromising their neutrality to be free and fair.
To conclude, Ghana deserves better than npp can offer so CMD urges Ghanaians to reject npp and Bawumia the google certified liar at all cost for mismanaging to collapse our economy and Bank of Ghana. CMD has also observed and noted that due to corruption and greed, nothing works in Ghana today including almost all the state institutions.
To purify our water bodies and make sure it is clean, reject Bawumia and npp.
To save our forest cover from destruction by illegal mining, reject Bawumia and npp.
To recover the loots and state landgrabs, reject Bawumia and npp.
To save SSNIT hotels from being sold to family, friends and cronies, reject Bawumia and npp.
To recover the cathedral loot from the likes of pastor Adu Gyamfi the only Ghanaian with 2 different names and fathers, reject Bawumia and npp.
For reduced food, commodities and fuel prices, reject Bawumia and npp.
