Renowned Ghanaian pastor and prophet Telvin Sowah has once again captured public attention with a new prophecy regarding Ghana’s future political landscape.
Following his earlier accurate prediction of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s success in the 2024 general elections, Prophet Telvin has now named Johnson Asiedu Nketia as the man destined to succeed John Dramani Mahama as Ghana’s president in the 2028 polls.
Speaking during an interview on Accra FM, the prophet dismissed rumors that former President Mahama might seek a third term an action prohibited by the Ghanaian Constitution. Instead, he stated that the NDC would put forward Asiedu Nketia, the party’s current National Chairman, as their presidential candidate, and that he would emerge victorious.
This latest forecast has generated a spectrum of reactions across the country, fueled by Prophet Telvin’s track record of several accurate predictions.

One notable instance includes his foresight regarding football star Thomas Partey, who is currently involved in legal matters overseas.
Johnson Asiedu Nketia, born in 1956, is a prominent figure in Ghanaian politics. He previously served as the Member of Parliament for Wenchi West from 1993 to 2005 and held the position of Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture.
He spent 17 years as the General Secretary of the NDC before assuming the role of National Chairman in 2022. Under his leadership, the party secured victory in the 2024 elections.
As discussions around the 2028 elections begin to take shape, this prophecy adds fresh intrigue to Ghana’s political conversations.
Whether Prophet Telvin’s prediction comes to fruition remains to be seen, but it certainly has sparked considerable debate.
