In a nation where it is proudly recognized for its Christian heritage, a growing concern is casting shadow over its spiritual landscape.
While Ghana embraces Christianity in the promised societal impact of Christ’s principles,, it appears to be faltered with accusations of pastors who are reporttely eroding the country’s prosperity through false activities under the cover of the. Holly Bible.
This alarming trend has prompted a Kumasi based pastor, Rev. David Armstrong founder and leader of the Mo Mary Prayer Fellowship to call for a decisive action from the Christian Council of Ghana to laise with the government and employ a radical means to shut down some suspect churches.

Rev. Armstrong believes that the Christian Council of Ghana holds the key to rectify the situation.
He advocates for a strong and decisive actions to be taken, as he emphasized the need for collaboration with the government.
According to the clergy while freedom of worship is a cornerstone in the Ghanaian society the current activities of some religious leaders are directly contradictory to the fundamental rights to worship.
The man of God highlighted the unprecedented misinterpretations of the gospel that have been leading to the defrauding of innocent individuals including the pastors own church members.
These deceptive practices, he said have allowed many false pastors to succeed in sowing division within families and society at large.
Beyond financial exploitations, Rev. Armstrong pointed to the alarming rise of false prophecies that have become a commonplace in the priesthood.
He stated that these unfounded predictions are being used to create unwarranted fear and panic within a democratic society to undermining its stability.
Rev. David Armstrong attributes the escalation of these deceptive prophecies to greed and a wish to tarnish the image of God.
He indicated that the burgeoning trend of questionable churches and self proclaimed prophets has disillusioned many to turn their faces from God as they struggle to discern the true church of Christ in these latter days.
According to the clergyman despite the clear warnings from the Word of God regarding the activities of false prophets, religious deception is on the ascendancy.
It is against this backdrop of spiritual manipulations and its detrimental impact on the Ghanaian the society that he implores the Christian Council of Ghana to engage with the government and take a decisive action on the fake pastors.
My ultimate goal is to restore the image of God and the integrity of faith in Ghana, Rev David Armstrong concluded.
