The spirit of giving rages on….As Frank Yeboah Foundation Donates 9 Sewing Machines, 5 Hair Dryers, Others Worth Ghc 15.630 To Support Artisans Of Asofua-Asaman.
As part of measures to fulfill parts of its social responsibilities, a Kumasi based Non Governmental Organization, Frank Yeboah Foundation, on Saturday August 5 2023, donated items worth over Ghc15,630 to the artisans of Asofua-Asaman in the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in the Ashanti region to help boost their activities.
The items include 9 sewing machines, 5 hair dryers, 2 sets of jerseys and 4 footballs.
That was not all, in addition, the Foundation further doled out GHc1000 to the community as part of support to encourage them to embark on their monthly clean up exercises.
Earlier before the donation, members of the Frank Yeboah Foundation served the community with breakfast after which they embarked on intensive two hours clean up exercise from 6-8 am on the fateful day.
Where members of the Foundation took the opportunity to clean the streets, weed bushy areas in the community and distilled areas where gutters had been choked with carcasses.
The motive behind the presentation was to enable the artisans to start their own businesses and also keep the existing ones in business.
It was also aimed at creating sanitation and environmental awareness in the residents, since the Foundation believes that cleanliness is next to godliness and that without good health, the existence of mankind is meaningless.
The function brought together some prominent personalities such as traditional rulers, political leaders, artisans and other officials from Frank Yeboah Foundation.
Presenting the items, the Chief Executive Officer of Frank Yeboah Foundation and parliamentary hopeful for Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mr Frank Yeboah said he was delighted to contribute towards the future development of the young men and women who are in skills training in the area.
He said Frank Yeboah Foundation as part of its social responsibilities will continue to offer their support to the people both in education and skills training programs.
He added that the Foundation does not belong to any political party but rather it champions for the prosperity of the people in Atwima Nwabiagya North and beyond irrespective of any political affiliation.
He promised further assistance to the residents in the constituency, stressing that the role of artisans in national development cannot be under-estimated.
Therefore he charged people to respect artisans and not to denigrate them.
He advised the beneficiaries to be proud of the vocation they have chosen and urged them to be proactive and make the best out of the tools provided them to support themselves and their families.
Mr.Frank Yeboah further urged the artisans to adopt the spirit of we can do spirit and with hard work, perseverance and determination, they will be able to make life possible.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Madam Josephine Prempeh thanked the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Mr Frank Yeboah for the gesture.
She added that the development of every country is a share responsibility of both government and individuals so I want to use this opportunity on behalf of the beneficiaries to commend the management of Frank Yeboah Foundation for their kindness and concern shown to us (Artisans of this community).
Madam Josephine Prempeh also thanked the Chief Operating Officer for the prompt response and promised that the beneficiaries would work hard to better their lives by becoming financially independent in their livelihood.
