External Forces Would Continue To Suppress Africa Union Because Nkrumah’s Ideology To Liberate Africa Was Thwarted – Moslem Scholar.
A popular Kumasi based Moslem Scholar, Alhaji Musa Abubakari has observed that the Western forces would go ahead to suppress the African continent for a very long time to come, because the ideologies in which the late Head of State, Dr Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah initiated to liberate Africans was undermined by some African leaders through external dictatorship.
Reacting to the constitutional governance and the emerging coup d’etat in the African continent of late, Alhaji Musa Abubakari who also doubles as the Chairman of the Moslem Executive Foundation (MEF) expressed worry that African leaders have allegedly allowed themselves to be manipulated by the advanced countries who see the black people as common elements.
Chairman Abubakari indicated that African countries have to accept the challenges which the citizens are currently undergoing through, because some of the leaders in Africa themselves duly cooperate with the foreign dictators to undermine the progress of the Africa continent.
Justifying his points, Alhaji Musa Abubakari, also Managing Director of Basfam Co. Ltd in Kumasi cited that Dr Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah knowing what the foreign dictators would do to harm African citizens, initiated the formation of Africa Union (AU) to fight for their rights, but Nkrumah’s Ideology was suppressed, leaving the continent to suffer up till now.
Kwame Nkrumah’s AU agenda was among others to build a strong, solid, effective, united and progressive continent but his efforts was thwarted and eventually overthrown by his own people through the influence of external dictatorship.
Today, Alhaji Musa Abubakari asked if Kwame Nkrumah was allowed to put his ideology into action, would Africa countries suffer to the extent of which the citizens are undergoing through today.
According to him, some African countries have come to the realization that, some elements have been enslaving them as they tend to see the light in terms of civilization and seek to set themselves free.
In order to allow individual African countries to manage their own economies in unity, peace and happiness, he said it is time where Africa Union (AU) should stop its hypocrisy since they are part of the problems confronting Africans.
The AU he alleged further, is a rubber stamp entity which sings the songs of dictators and as such, cannot boasts itself as an organization which is championing a good cause for the continent.
He also noted that the ECOWAS meeting held in Accra recently to deliberate on the Niger military coup was organized to favor the agenda of the organization itself but nobody.
The chairman alleged that it was the same organization who condoned with the external forces to overthrow Dr Kwame Nkrumah some years back when it became clear to them that Nkrumah’s Ideology to liberate African continent was laudable.
The troubles at Niger call for positive dialogue and strategic approach to solution it but not imposition or threats, Alhaji Musa Abubakari observed.
