The Afadzato South constituency is undergoing a rebranding process, with the goal of electing a new youth representative to the 9th Parliament and the subsequent parliament.
The rebranding initiative began on May 13th, 2023, and the new representative will be fully rebranded and sworn in on January 7th, 2025.
The selection of the new representative is based on the delegates’ confidence in his involvement in party work, approachability, and humanitarian efforts.
The delegates believe this person will follow in the footsteps of his friend, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who has been actively supporting the constituents of North Tongu in various ways.
The new representative is a former TEIN member at the University of Ghana, where he worked closely with Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. Based on their hard work and achievements at the university, he was appointed as a presidential staffer under the Mills and Mahama governments, while Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa was made a deputy minister.
It is clear that the rebranding of the Afadzato South constituency is not the desire of a few individuals, but rather the will of the masses, as evidenced by the outcome of the selection process.
We, the senior and junior comrades of the beloved National Democratic Congress (NDC) party, as well as the sympathizers of the great party, are proud to present Hon. Frank Afriyie as our new representative in the 9th Parliament.
