Very Rev. Anthony Kwarteng, Founder and Leader of the Christ Power Miracle Mission Church in Accra Dome Kwabenya, has issued a stern warning to Ghanaians cautioning them against the proliferation of fake’ pastors who he asserts lack a genuine divine calling and primarily operate to exploit the public for personal and familial gain.
In an exclusive interview Rev. Kwarteng lamented that while genuine pastors do exist in Ghana, their voices are often drowned out by the noise of those seeking widespread media attention.
True clergymen are hardly heard let alone making noise on social media channels or any media outfits, he observed.
Rev. Kwarteng expressed deep regret that despite the abundance of religious leaders in the country who he believes should be collaborating with the government for national transformation, Ghana continues to be plagued by antisocial vices.
He strongly disputed the claim that Ghana is a Christian country.
Muslims and Christians among other religious sects, are always seen praying he noted, questioning “If such prayers truly reach God how can the country decline at such a proportion?
He specifically pointed to numerous corruption cases before the authorities and asked where were those prophecy pastors who failed to reveal to the government the scandals as they were exposed?”
According to Very Rev. Kwarteng many of these pastors employ a cunning tactic: they cleverly sit down and study the hardships facing the country after which they make their false prophecies.
He asserted that they have turned prophecies into a game, be it social or political, pastors always claiming that God has spoken to them when delivering their deceptive messages.
The man of God issued a stark warning to Ghanaians to be cautious about such magicians-turned-pastors who, he argues, are just in to serve their bellies rather than promoting the salvation of mankind which he says the Bible genuinely promotes.
Rev. Anthony Kwarteng’s observations serve as a powerful call for discernment within Ghana’s religious landscape.
His message underscores the critical need for believers to distinguish between genuine spiritual guidance aimed at true transformation and manipulative tactics masquerading as divine revelation, particularly in times of national economic and social challenges.
