Agyapa deal will sink the future of Ghanaian youth – Akamba

Agyapa deal will sink the future of Ghanaian youth – Akamba.

A Former National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC),Hon.Joshua Hamidu Akamba has disclosed that the Agyapa deal thievery under the NPP will surely ruin the future of Ghanaian youth if the ruling New Patriotic Party still remain in power to continue such deal.

According to him,Ghanaians are unimpressed with President Akuffo Addo led administration over its policies and Grand scheme corruptions that has rocked the country, adding that should John Mahama win the next elections the party would probe the Agyapa deal and other corruption related issues.

He made this comment on the backdrop of the Public Accounts Committee hearing where the Chief Executive Officer of MIIF, Edward Nana Yaw Koranteng divulged that a humongous amount of USD$12 million was spent on the botched “Agyapa” Royalties deal

Mr Akamba has warned that the day of accountability is fast approaching, and if anyone found culpable will be dealt by the next NDC/Mahama government.

He indicated that, under President Akuffo Addo, youth unemployment has been left to chance and if care is not taken it would birth the country into youth uprising.

“For the government to Create more jobs for the youth, it is only interested in milking the State resources in shady deals like Agyapa at the expense of the ordinary Ghanaian” he added

He appealed to Ghanaians not to give chance to President Akufo-Addo and his corrupt cabal of family and friends, to place the Chief liar and dishonest Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, whose sole mission is to cover-up the many ills of this known corrupt administration and insulate wrongdoers including himself, from prosecution.

He said with great conviction that the discerning Ghanaians will rise to the occasion and reject corruption, nepotism, impunity, arrogance of power and economic mismanagement under this inept government by voting the NPP out from power co, 2024
