Our Communities Continue To Develop Based On The Support We Have From Our Chiefs – Assemblyman.
The Assemblyman for Asuopiri East Nkrankwanta Electoral Area in the Bono Region, Hon Issifu Basomah has attributed the achievements of his Electoral Area to nothing, but rather the unity and cooperation that he and the communities enjoy from the chiefs and elders.
Speaking to the Correspondent in reactions to the outcomes communal labor in the area, Hon Basomah described communal labor activities in his area as very progressive.
This is because the people always turned up in their numbers to work when programs are organized for attention.
He cited that he was excited to see a large number of people who turned up to participate in a communal labor that witnessed the clearance of bushes at the town’s cemetery amidst cleaning up the streets in the town, last week.
The Assemblyman praised the chief of Nkrankwanta, Nana Akyiaw Akombi II, whose leadership style have been making impact in the electoral area.
Hon Basomah reiterated that the chief is a unifier, humble and have a listen ear and through such qualities, he regularly organizes football matches, public gatherings among others to create awareness in the people on why peace should be given the chance to ensure the development in the communities.
He said on the last week communal labor Nana Akyiaw Akombi II thanked the residents for their hard work and honor done him.
And assured them of his cooperation at all times to enhance the development of the area.
On his part, Hon Issifu Basomah called on the people to be vigilant to expose suspicious criminals who pretend to be good citizens, showing up in the town to rent houses but eventually ended them up to become criminals.
To shun all forms of criminal activities in the area, Hon Basomah advised the citizens to give tipp off to the relevant authorities when they come across any suspicious characters in both homes and communities for action.
Hon Basomah in an answer to a question pointed out that he hopes to win massively, the upcoming District Assembly’s elections because the residents have confidence in him based on his performance.
