The Parliamentary Candidate for Pru East Constituency of the National Democratic Congress, Hon. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam, has successfully filed his nomination forms with the Electoral Commission (EC), ultimately to enable him contest the Parliamentary seat of the Constituency in the December 7th elections.
The Pru East seat has been the stronghold of the NDC and that during the nomination forms filing process, the event was witnessed by party executives, supporters, and well-wishers, who gathered at the EC’s district office to show their solidarity.
At the occasion, Hon. Boam after successfully submitting his forms addressed the Electoral Commission by saying, “We are very grateful this afternoon for your warm reception and good service to our beloved country Ghana and the good people of Pru East Constituency.
We as a political party are thrilled by this elections which l describes it as a crucial one for all of us.
Hon Boam continued, we have identified some issues of irregularities In the VOTER REGISTER and have already petitioned you the Electoral Commission to get them solved amicably.
We trust your co-operation and wanted to remind you that as a political party, this issue is paramount to us for your timely redress.
Reacting to the Parliamentary candidate’s, assertion some party supporters expressed their trust and confident in Hon. Boam’s ability to deliver for the people of Pru East Constituency.
We will work tirelessly to ensure his victory and the continuation of NDC’s legacy in our constituency, party activists assured.
