Ejisu Election: Lawyer Boateng pulls 393 votes to emerge as a winner

Hopes of Ghana’s former GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi of becoming the Member of Parliament for Ejisu constituency has been shipwrecked by delegates in the just ended Ejisu Elections.

Out the 1031 total valid vote cast, he pulled only 35, leaving many to wonder why his influence could not mass up much support from delegates to earn him the enviable political seat.

Few days to the election, the highly respected sports official classified himself as the Christian Ronaldo of Ejisu constituency after scoring 7th position on the ballot sheet.

However, the above accolade could not see the light of day.

After the whole election, Kwabena Boateng emerged winner by scoring 393 votes.

Helena Mensah scored 302 votes, Maame Yaa Aboagye 229, Aaron Prince Duah 2, Abena Pokuaa Amoah 0, Porchia Acheampong 6, Klinsman Karikari 2 and Evans Duah 61.

Stay tuned.
