Stand firm and resist the false prophets – clergy to Ghanaians.
The General Overseer of the Holy Zion Ministries International in Kumasi, Prophet Kwame Agyei Richmond says it is time where Ghanaians, especially the Christians should wake up from their slumber and expose the false prophets for what they are worth.
The clergy who also doubles as the founder of the International Prayer Summit made the assertion when he was reacting to a situation where pastors in this latter days have been refusing to preach the true word of God, expect sermons that boarder on prosperity.
The humble prophet observed that what is currently going on in the priesthood is not strange because the Holy Bible talks about false prophets who would surface in the end time to deceive the public.
Prophet Kwame Agyei Richmond underscored that it is no wonder these days where some fake pastors turn and pronounce themselves as the only Messiah who have come back to the earth to save mankind.
Such quacks he said, speak treasonable and deceptive words and have no ideas to preach about salvation or issues that promotes God’s Kingdom because their callings are not from God.
The clergy said the activities of the false prophets tend to have heightened suspicion in the society to such an extent that people don’t believe that genuine pastors exist.
But pastor Richmond charged the followers of Christ to remain steadfast and renew their faith and trust in the Lord since true pastors exist, but are scarce to discover as a result of the laud noise making attitudes of the counterfeit pastors.
He stressed that no matter how the false prophets would work to suppress the gospel, God has the way to save His chosen servants.
Therefore don’t be deceived to believe that you are out of the salvation zone, citing the sinner on the cross who got his salvation after showing his compassionate to Jesus Christ on the cross.
The prophet further attributed the rot in the priesthood to the so called ” pray for me” syndrome in the churches which he opined, has contributed in no small measure to disgrace the christian religion.
In this regard, the man of God urged christians to be watchful, vigilant and resist the Antichrist followers who have been masquerading as the Angels of light and deceiving people.
In his brief admonition, Prophet Kwame Agyei Richmond made it clear that the existence of God is real and that since darkness cannot overshadow the light, anyone who would try to dispute the existence of God must be considered as an agent of the Satan and must be treated with contempt.
